Guess the Filmi Dialogue puts 60 lines from 60 Hindi films on cut-out cards, with a host sheet that holds every answer and three ways to play.

If you would rather skip the printer, you can guess the movie from dialogue on a phone with nothing to download. The printable suits a table of people passing cards. The free game suits one person reading from a screen. For versions beyond dialogue, see the other ways to guess the Bollywood movie.

What is in a Bollywood dialogue game PDF?

A Bollywood dialogue game PDF holds the lines, the answers, and some way to keep one away from the other. Search for one and most of what comes back is a shared document with the lines typed out, which works until someone reads ahead.

The printable pack is built to be played rather than read. It comes as three files, and every page is in both A4 and Letter size:

  • A card deck: 60 cut-out cards, six to a sheet, each with a line, a hint and the answer.
  • A host sheet: every line, hint and answer on four pages, with nothing to cut.
  • A scorecard with five sudden-death tie-breakers.
  • An answer pad for a room that would rather write than shout.
  • A start-here guide of three pages on how to play and print.

The 60 lines come from 60 different films released between 1971 and 2025, so no film turns up twice. None of them appear on this page.

How do you play the printable dialogue game?

You play the printable dialogue game in one of three ways, and all three use the same 60 lines.

1. Host sheet

The host reads from the sheet and the room guesses. It is the fastest start, because nothing needs cutting. Play in teams or one against one. A film named straight away is two points, and a film named after the hint is one.

This is the one I would use for a first game, before anyone has decided whether they like it.

2. Pass the deck

Nobody hosts in pass the deck. Put the cut cards face down and take turns reading one out. The first correct shout keeps the card, and whoever holds the most cards at the end wins.

It is the version where the person who printed everything finally gets to play.

3. Jaldi round

The jaldi round is played against the clock. Each guesser gets thirty seconds while the host reads lines without stopping, and every film named is a point. Hints are free.

It is the loudest of the three, because nobody else in the room can stay quiet while someone else's clock runs.

How do you print the dialogue game cards?

Print at 100 percent, not fit to page, on whichever paper size you have at home.

  • Open one ZIP file, not both.
  • White card stock gives the firmest cards. Ordinary paper is fine for one night.
  • Black and white works. Nothing in the pack depends on color.
  • For the fastest game, print only the host sheet. Four pages and you are playing.
  • A paper cutter gives cleaner edges than scissors on the deck.

Eight free lines to try before you print

These eight lines are not in the printable. Read one out, let the room name the film, then open the answer. The first one is the easiest.

1. “Rehman Dakait ki di huyi maut badi kasainuma hoti hai.”

Show the answer

Dhurandhar (2025). The name gives it away to anyone who has seen the film, and to nobody else.

2. “Sadak se utha kar star banaunga.”

Show the answer

Welcome (2007). Feroz Khan as RDX. Most people remember the gangsters in this film better than the hero.

3. “Zara matlab kitna... aadhi chamach shaadi ki hai?”

Show the answer

Waqt: The Race Against Time (2005). Rajpal Yadav as Laxman. A comedy line inside a family drama, which is why it slips past people.

4. “Khana khao, taqat aayega ... bahar jaake beizzati mat karana.”

Show the answer

Gangs of Wasseypur (2012). The gentlest line in a very violent film, which is exactly why nobody guesses it.

5. “Arre chulhe me jaaye chahat.”

Show the answer

Hulchul (2004). Akshaye Khanna and Kareena Kapoor, in a comedy about two feuding families.

6. “Chattrivaado che... Nai chahiye bhai humko chota bada koi chattri nahi chahiye.”

Show the answer

Awara Paagal Deewana (2002). A whole argument about umbrellas, from a crime comedy that has nothing to do with rain.

7. “Apni Mrs hain?”

Show the answer

Hungama (2003). Three words, and the whole plot of the film is hiding in them.

8. “Tu fikar mat kar yaar ... bacha hai tu mera.”

Show the answer

Dhurandhar (2025). The same film as number one. Nobody expects a repeat, which is the whole trick.

When the eight run out, the free dialogue game online keeps dealing lines at random, and the printable has 60 more.
